How to Record Audio from YouTube Effortlessly

Before start, please free downloadfree download and install the software on your PC.

Step 1. Open the Video Downloader

Launch HD Video Converter Factory Pro, on the main interface, select Downloader, then click on + New Download.

Step 2. Copy the Video URL

Open the YouTube video you want to save audio from and copy its video URL.

Step 3. Paste and Analyze the URL

Select Paste and Analyze button and wait for the analysis process to finish

Step 4. Download Audio from YouTube

Head to the Download Audio section, choose the needed audio format, then click on OK > Download All to save the audio to your computer.

Tips. If you want to convert YouTube to an audio format that isn't listed in the download option, such as YouTube to FLAC, YouTube to WAV, and so forth, after you complete the download process, return to the startup window, select Converter. Then you're able to convert the downloaded audio to any common audio formats you like.

Step 1. Enter the Recorder Window

On the startup window, you need to choose Recorder to initialize the screen recorder. 

Step 2. Customize the Settings for Recording

On the top left corner, choose from Custom and Full Screen. Since you only want to save the audio, you can choose any one of them. The key point is to activate audio recording settings. You need to right click on the Speaker on the lower right of the desktop, choose Recording devices, go to the Recording tab, and enable Stereo Mix. Then click on the inverted triangle to specify the output path for saving recordings.

Step 3. Record Audio from YouTube

Open the YouTube video you want to record, and click on the red Rec button to start the recording process. Then press Ctrl +F1 to stop the recording.

Step 4. Convert the Recording to MP3

On the startup window, click on Converter, then click on Add files to import the recorded YouTube video, select Output Format on the right side of the window, go to the Audio tab and choose MP3 as the Output Format. Finally, click on Run to record MP3 from YouTube at one go.
