DAT to AVI - How to Convert DAT to AVI in a Simple Way

Before start, please free downloadfree download the software.

Step 1. Run the Software and Click the “Converter” Icon

First, please launch the program. And then you will see five main function icons in the main interface (“Converter”, “Downloader” “Recorder” “GIF Maker” and “Toolbox”). Just select “Converter”.

Step 2. Import Videos or a Folder into the DAT to AVI Converter

After the first step, you will enter a new “Converter” window. There are two options to add separate DAT videos or to add the DAT file folder to the software:

1. Click “Add Files” button at the top left of the program to add separate DAT videos or click “Add Video Folder” to load a whole folder of DAT videos.

2. Directly drag and drop your videos or a folder to the program.

Step 3. Select AVI as the Output Format

After that, you need to click the format icon. And then, you will see a popup window, where you need to select the “AVI” format under the video-category.

Step 4. Convert DAT Files to AVI

You can opt to create a destination folder by clicking the inverted triangle icon for saving and easy retrieval of the converted files. Then just click on the “Run” button to start converting. Moreover, if the list is too long and you don’t want to spend your time in waiting, you can click the alarm clock icon to set the complete actions including “Do nothing”, “Open output folder”, “Exit program”, “Restart computer” and “Shutdown”.
