Among the various screen recorders on the market, WonderFox HD Video Converter Factory Pro is what I most recommend. It is all-in-one software developed to handle different audio- and video-related tasks, including conversion, compression, editing, downloading, and of course, screen recording. Its built-in screen recorder allows you to capture the entire desktop or record only desired part of the screen with no issue. And you can use it to record video from website (with audio included) with no lag, no watermark and no time limit. Meanwhile, it promises high recording quality and outputs the recording in MP4 format so that you can play it on basically all devices without compatibility issues (If you’d like the recorded video in a different format, you can use the converter module to quick convert it to other 500+ profiles without losing quality). The recording process is simple too.
Now, get this software and read the next part to learn how to record website videos with it in detail.
Launch HD Video Converter Factory Pro and click the Recorder to bring up the Recorder window.
On the upper-left side of the Recorder, you can see two recording modes. Choose Custom if you want to record a specific region on your screen (you need to manually select the area you want to record). Or you can capture the whole screen with the Full Screen mode.
Next, check the Stereo Mix audio source to make sure the system audio is included during the recording. If you didn’t see this option, open your Windows Sound Control Panel > Recording > Stereo Mix > right-click to enable.
Then, choose a quality for your recording and set an output folder at the bottom.
When everything is ready, hit the big REC button to start recording your desired wanted video after a five-second countdown. When you finish the recording, press hotkeys ‘Ctrl + F1’ to exit. You can view the recorded file in the output folder you just set.
It depends on what content you are going to record. If it is a video prohibited from downloading, then it is not legal to get that video offline in any form, including recording. However, if you only record video for personal fair use, you should be fine.
If you don’t want to install any software, you can try a Chrome extension named Loom, which can help you record full desktop from Chrome. And it will upload the recorded file to its hosting service with a sharable link so you can share it with your friends conveniently.
Videos on most video-hosting sites like YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, Facebook and so forth can be downloaded directly with a third-party video downloader. The screen recorder used before is such a program that can help download video from these websites easily. It can also download embedded videos from other types of websites. You can get the software to have a try.
That’s the whole process of how to record video from website with the efficient screen recorder. I hope that you find this screen recorder helpful and please do not use it to record any copy-protected materials. Thanks for reading.
