Method 1 - How to Extract BIN Files with Archiver Utility

Many free third-party archiving tools like WinRAR and 7-Zip can help you extract BIN files. Earlier, we used 7-Zip to extract IMG file and here, let’s still use 7-Zip to extract a BIN file.

Step 1: For extracting BIN files with 7-Zip, firstly, free download and install the BIN File Extractor from https://www.7-zip.org/.

Step 2: Right click the .bin file > 7-Zip > Exact files.

Step 3: Click the “Location” field and select the location where the files will be extracted. Finally, click OK to start unpacking the BIN file to the specified location.

Method 2 - Extracting BIN Files with AnyBurn

Previously, we used AnyBurn, a free DVD Burning tool, to burn files and folders to DVD, CD, and Blu-ray. It can also rip audio CDs to MP3, FLAC, and WMA files that can be played on portable devices. Extracting BIN files is another function.

Step 1: Download and install AnyBurn BIN File Extractor from http://www.anyburn.com/.

Step 2: Run AnyBurn, click Browse / Extract image file on the left panel.

Step 3: Click the browse button and navigate to the .bin file you want to extract, and Click "Open" to select it. Then, AnyBurn will list all files and folders within the BIN file and you need to select all the files, click Next, and customize the output directory. Finally, click Next to start extracting BIN files.

Method 3 - How to Unpack BIN Files with DAEMON Tools Lite

Virtual drive software can mount disc image files as virtual drives for different uses. DAEMON Tools Lite is a popular virtual drive software that enables you to emulate all popular CD, DVD, and Blu-ray image types as virtual drives. The following steps will show you how to use DAEMON Tools Lite as a BIN file extractor.

Step 1: Download and install DAEMON Tools Lite to be used as a .bin extractor from https://www.daemon-tools.cc/products/dtLite.

Step 2: Right-click on the desktop > New > New Text Document, open the text document, copy and paste the following content

Change "filename.bin" to your own BIN file name, such as "1914.SHELLS.OF.FURY-ADDICTION-ENG.bin". Save the text document, rename the .txt to .cue, such as "1914.SHELLS.OF.FURY-ADDICTION-ENG.bin.cue", and then put the cue file and the bin file in the same folder.

Step 3: Run DAEMON Tools Lite, click Quick Mount, import the CUE file, open Computer/This PC, you will find a new virtual drive, and finally, double-click to open it.
