Step 1. How to turn off subtitles on VLC? To do that, firstly, run VLC and click Tool > Preferences on the menu bar.

Step 2. Click on All to show all settings in the lower left corner.

Step 3. Click Input / Codecs on the left, find the Subtitle track ID on the right, and change -1 to 0.

Step 4. Click Save to save your settings.
