Step 1. Add Files into the Free Video Cutter Joiner

Open Free HD Video Converter Factory, navigate to the "Converter" module and click "Add Files" and select the videos you want to cut or merge from your computer. The software also supports drag-and-drop for importing files.

The software has full support for video formats like MP4, AVI, MKV, WMV, etc. Here we show you how to use the software as an MP4 cutter and joiner.

Step 2. Cut and Merge Video Files

How to Cut Video Files: Click on the "Scissors" icon from the menu bar, and the Trim window will appear. Drag the blue time bar to set the start time and end time, or directly fill in the start and end time. Hit the Play button on the left to preview the cutted part. Then hit the green "Trim" button to save the changes.

How to Merge Video Files: Hit the "Merge" button on the top and the Merge window will pop up. All videos you imported will be displayed on the Video LIst section. Then select 2+ videos from the Video List and click the Merge button in the middle to create Pack 1, and repeat the step to create Pack 2, Pack3, etc., and you can drag video files into the corresponding pack for merging if you need. Alter the merge order by dragging the videos. Next, click the "Merge" button at the bottom to save the changes.

Step 3. Choose an Output Format

Hit the "Click to change output format" section on the right side of the main interface, and choose an output format. The free video cutter and joiner supports 500+ output formats and devices so you're able to choose any video format you need.

Step 4. Start the Conversion Process

Click on the inverted triangle icon at the bottom to choose a location for saving the output files. Finally, click "Run" to start the video cutting and merging process.
