Convert VTS/VIDEO_TS Files Step by Step

Before start, keep the VIDEO_TS folder as complete as possible instead of moving VOB files out of it.

Step 1. Import Video_TS Folder That Contains All VTS Files

Useful Settings Before Converting VTS Files

A complete VIDEO_TS folder may include the main movie, bonus clips, previews, trailers, menus, and multiple language tracks. After loading the folder, check the title list before conversion. Keep the main title selected for a movie DVD, or select multiple titles if the disc contains several episodes.

For playback, the default output settings are usually enough. For archiving, you can raise the bitrate or choose an output profile that better preserves the original DVD quality. For smaller files, lower the bitrate or use the built-in compression options. Remember that DVD video is usually standard definition, so increasing the resolution will not create real HD details.

You can also choose audio tracks, keep or remove subtitles, add external subtitles, clip unwanted parts, crop black bars, change aspect ratio, or adjust frame rate.
