[Kodi Radio Streaming] How to Download and Install Radio Addons for Kodi?

You know what, Kodi has provided a vast array of addons integrated with main installer. All Addons will be installed via the application itself and categorized in order, that is, it acts a little bit like an "App Store" for Kodi, but all featured add-ons are FREE! New additions and updates will come with the new release when you update the Kodi. Now let's see how to install radio addon on Kodi.

Step 1. Run Kodi on your computer. Go to Add-ons on the left sidebar.

Step 2. Click on the Add-on Package icon.

Step 3. Select "Install from repository" option.

Step 4. Go to "Music add-ons".

Step 5. Here you can see a mass of addons of radio stations and music. Scroll down the list and find the Radio addion - a Kodi music plugin to access over 7000 international radio broadcasts listed from rad.io, radio.de, radio.fr and radio.pt.

Step 6. Then click on "Install" button to install this radio addon on Kodi. When the installation is complete, it will prompt an "Add-on installed" message in the top-right corner.

Step 7. Finally, go back to the home screen, hover your mouse over Add-ons, you'll find the Radio addon right there. Now, you can stream the radio on Kodi with ease. With the same steps above, you can install other music addons for Kodi internet radio streaming wihout any problem.

For some niche radio stations and new developed addons that have been not officially categorized by Kodi add-on repository, you're able to install the addon from a .zip file. Next, I'll take TuneIn Radio as an example for demonstration.

Step 1. Download the latest version of TuneIn Radio ZIP package from GitHub: https://github.com/rols1/Kodi-Addon-TuneIn2017/releases/latest

Step 2. Launch Kodi. For security, Kodi has disabled the addon installation from unknown sources by default. So, to install TuneIn Radio successfully, you have to enable Unknown Source installation. Go to Kodi home screen, click on Add-ons on the left sidebar.

Step 3. Click on the gear icon to open the Settings/System window.

Step 4. Navigate to Add-ons, and ENABLE Unknown Source option. Now, the extraneous addons have been authorized access to your personal data stored on your device. Please make sure the ZIP package is downloaded from legitimate website or source in case of any unnecessary loss.

Step 5. Get back to the home screen, press Add-ons on the left sidebar and click on the Add-on Package icon.

Step 6. Select "Install from zip file".

Step 7. Locate your downloaded ZIP file and hit OK to install TuneIn Radio for Kodi. Then wait for "Add-on installed" message.

Step 8. Lastly, you'll find TuneIn Radio in your Add-ons list. Just enjoy Kodi radio streams at will!
