How to Remove Text from Video?

If the text is at the edge of the video, it is suggested that you crop the text area out of the video to make your output look better. The tutorial below will show you how to remove parts of a video with the text remover mentioned earlier:

Launch WonderFox HD Video Converter Factory Pro, and click “Converter” on the startup window. In the new interface, hit “Add Files” and select the wanted video and then click “Open” to import it into the video converter.

Tips: You can also directly drag the video needed into the program.

On the menu bar below the imported video, click the “Crop” button to open the “Crop” window. Next, on the left “Original Preview” window, drag the four dotted lines to crop the text out of the main area. You can see the real-time effect on the right “Output Preview” window. When you are done with the cropping, click “OK” to save the changes.

Tips: You can use the fine-tuning tool on the lower right side to crop your video more accurately.

Before cropping, click on the right-side format image and choose an output format. Finally, hit “Run” to start cropping. After done, click “open” to check your file in the output folder.

Import the video into the video converter window like the Step 1 in Method 1.

Click the “Effect” button below the imported video. In the pop-up window, choose “Blur” or “Mosaic” from the lower-left panel to add effect to the text. You can preview the effect on the right “Output Preview” window. If you are not satisfied with it, you can go to the lower-right options to make further adjustments (brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue). Then, click “OK” to save the changes.

Back in the main workspace, select an output format and click “Run” to start the process like the Step 3 in Method 1.

Click the “Watermark” button as shown in the screenshot. In the pop-up window, choose either “Text” or “Image” type to generate a new watermark. On the right side of the selected type, you can change the “Opacity” of the watermark and “Rotate” it. Then place the watermark to cover the text. After that, click “OK” to save the changes for removing text from video.
